2007 ISAF Sailing World Championships
After the success of the 2003 ISAF World Championship in Cadiz, Spain, which brought all the Olympic Class World Championships to three venues at the same time, with the added incentive of Olympic Qualification, ISAF has been totally supported on the event's long term future.
On 28 August 2004, ISAF announced that the next ISAF Sailing World Championships will take place in Cascais, Portugal in 2007. All eleven Olympic sailing events will be contested. The event will be the major qualification regatta for the 2008 Olympic Games. Subject to final approval by ISAF, the proposed Championship dates are 28 June to 13 July 2007.
